Crop Reports
Canada Crop Report - October 4, 2011
For the past 2 weeks soybean harvest has been stalled due to rainfall. There was a small amount of soybeans harvested early last week before it rained again. Yields on the early harvested fields ranged from 10 - 60 bus/acre. Most soybeans are reaching maturity or have reached maturity and are awaiting dryer weather for harvest. The forecast today calls for a week of warm sunny weather. We are hopeful this forescast holds up so that harvest can begin.
