United States Crop Report - November 9, 2011

Harvest is @ 85% completed at this time. Some fairly large un-harvested areas exist in Southern, IL regions where rains and wet weather naggingly persist and are keeping fields and crops too wet. Temps are starting to fall with expected overnights in north and central midwest expected to be below the freezing mark. The year will end as consistantly as it has has been all season...we have the right weather at the wrong time. Early forecasts for 2012 indicate moisture could be slightly lower than 2011 which should allow for a good production year as long as moisture arrives in staggered and useable quantites.
