Freight Report - October 4, 2011
Steamship lines have pushed the October GRI to November 1st. Many in the industry do not believe the GRI will pass for November, but also do not believe it will completely go away. Look for a December GRI announcement.
Capacity varies amongst the lines. Some lines are experiencing difficulties on this side of the Pacific as imports have not been coming in as expected. As a result of the low imports lines are thinking of reducing their schedule.
